	The BIFM is the ‘natural home’ of facilities management in the UK. Founded in 1993, the Institute provides information, education, training and networking services for over 12,000 members – both individual professionals and organisations.

	Gas Safe Register has replaced CORGI in Great Britain and the Isle of Man. The register exists to protect you, your family, and your property from dangerous gas work. By law, anyone carrying out work on gas installations and appliances in your home must be on the Gas Safe Register. Be gas safe – always use a Gas Safe registered engineer. Always ask to see their Gas Safe Register ID card.
	The HVCA represents the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (hvacr) products and equipment. HVCA members are subject to regular, third-party inspection and assessment to ensure their technical and commercial competence.
	ISO 9001 is the principal internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems and can be implemented in any type of business.
	ISO 14001 is in fact a series of international standards on environmental management. It provides a framework for the development of an environmental management system and the supporting audit programme.
	Refcom Elite membership proves to owners and operators that, following independent third party inspection, Climate Facilities Ltd; •Can competently install, commission or maintain a system containing refrigerant •Are licensed waste carriers •Handle refrigerants safely •Are compliant with all current legal requirements •Operate auditable procedures for the proper control of refrigerants and can account for all refrigerant used and recovered •Use appropriate, purpose-designed refrigerant recovery equipment •Perform refrigerant transactions with minimum emissions and are environmentally aware
